I had a betta (see? men can be taught!) a while back that had a similar jumping fetish. I came home from work one day to find the poor guy gasping for breath on the floor next to his tank but he must have JUST done it because I popped him back in the water and he was just fine…until my cat ate him a couple days later…

Pretty fishy! I love Beta’s..or is it Betta? I see it spelled both ways alot…
I always feel bad when i see them in pet stores in little cups but I am told they actually do very well in small spaces

@Jenn Yeppers, his name is Fred. I’m not quite sure why…maybe it picked him? I wub him. I may be a little off. LOL
@Abraxus I believe he is a two “t” Betta. He’s had a tough time being “Fred” so far – but he’s better now. Yay!
