Jenifer Rebecca Gitchell, it’s your 37th birthday and you can trust that there are tons of people thinking bout you and missing you tremendously. I miss you everyday and I know that I will for the rest of my life. You entered my world in 2001 and unfortunately left in 2006 and my life has not been the same. I have never met anyone like you and I know that I probably will never again…
You have brought much light, life, laughter and love to my life and to all of those that knew you. I can truthfully say that you have made our lives that much better and have left many footprints within our heart and I thank you for that.
I try very hard to live by your favorite mantra “Live, Laugh, Love” and sometimes it’s just so hard to do so…but I certainly do try. As you had around your cubie…
“Dance as though no one is watching you” “Sing as though no one can hear you”
Happy Birthday Gitchie…I love you and miss you very much…

I was cruising the internet a few weeks ago (heh, who wasn’t) and came across a cute invention…diaper cakes! Yes, I said it, diaper cake. Talk about a cute and unique idea. So, I thought, “hmmmm, maybe I could pull something like that together.” Maybe, just maybe, I have just enough craftiness inside me to wrangle something like that up. Of course, I also knew I could be wrong — waaaaaaaaaaay wrong.
I guess mine turned out okay for a first time caker, but I wish it would have turned out a wee bit better. Anyways, here’s my attempt:

Well, it’s something pretty simple and depending on how you want to decorate it, not very pricey. It’s definitely a little time consuming, of course nothing strenuous (which I love) and you can decorate it however you wish.
Without a doubt, I just love the “diaper cake” idea because it’s just something you can run with and have some fun. Hope she likes it! Yes, I’m crossing my fingers right now.
