So, the three of us (Yoshi, Yoshi’s Mom and I), went to the Fuji Japanese Steakhouse today. If you haven’t been to one, seriously, you must go and try it. The atmosphere is pretty relaxing (well, usually it is), the chef is amazing and puts on a pretty cool show, and the food is deelish (yes, I pulled a Rachael Ray on you)! The best part? It’s cooked right in front of you, kinda Hibachi style. Yummo! Hehehe, another RR for ya.
It would have been even better had we not been joined by probably the rudest, almost in their 20s girls. OMG, I totally wanted to commit some kind of ‘not so nice’ action; however, I refrained. Unfortunately, I couldn’t help but see them since they were basically sitting at the opposite end of Yoshi and I.
When the chef was doing his thing the two were actually making faces at each other. They never said thank you for anything, that’s just plain commom courtesy there. People, our dinner included the following (for a great price): soup, salad, vegies, bean sprouts, fried rice and whatever your main selection is, PLUS a drink. They got in a bit of a snit wanting another drink and asking if they would get charged for it. Um, yeah hello, why wouldn’t they be charged?
But, what I absolutely couldn’t believe? Was when the chef was serving up the extra vegies, the second girl actually told him after he gave her some that she didn’t want that much and dumped it back on the Hibachi. I was like WTF?? Dude, you just don’t do that. I mean really, what the hell?
Other than that, it was great!
Anyone have any experiences like that?
